TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
The Broker - What It IsTabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background. They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.PlatformsYou get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.CostsThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level. The FSRA QuestionHere is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities. The BonusTabTrade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.Everything in one place, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, more info is at TradeTheDay.
