TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
